PONY in Support of Earthquake Victims in Myanmar

PONY has chosen to support Missioni Don Bosco with a donation to aid the communities affected by the powerful earthquake that recently devastated Myanmar.

Among the hardest-hit places is the Chapel of Saint John Paul II, a vital hub within a centre that welcomes street children. This centre is part of a larger Salesian structure that includes educational, residential, and community facilities.

In response to the emergency, the Salesian missionaries have launched a comprehensive relief plan. This includes the distribution of essential goods such as food and water, the provision of electricity, psychological support, and basic medical assistance. Future efforts will also focus on rebuilding damaged structures and strengthening services for the reception and education of vulnerable youth.

Our donation joins those of many other individuals and companies who, like us, believe in the power of solidarity and the importance of standing by those in serious need.

Contributing to restoring hope for those who have lost everything is a gesture that makes us proud and reminds us of the importance of being an active part of a fairer, more compassionate global community.
